1. Can I sync multiple devices to the same PC?
Yes you can sync as many devices as you like. Simply pair each device and you’re good to go!
2. Why do I have to pair again after purchasing the full app?
For now, the settings between the free and full app are not shared. When migrating from free to full you will need to re-pair your phone to your PC. Simply follow the instructions and you’ll be good to go!
3. If I delete photos from my phone, will they get deleted from my PC next time I sync?
In general, the PC app will NEVER delete any files that have been synced. I designed the app that way because I feel this is the safest option for the user. However, users should be aware that new photos on your device may share the same file name as your old photos on your PC. In this case you may find your old photos will be overwritten next time you sync. I understand that this isn’t the best behaviour and am looking at way to fix it in future releases.
4. I can’t pair with my PC. It says a firewall is blocking access?
If you are running anti-virus or firewall software it may be blocking access to your PC. Add an exception to allow:
C:\Program Files(x86)\My Sync Center\sync_server.exe
For your local network.

Can’t find file sync_client.exe to allow firewall permission (MacAfee), Finds pc fine and gives me code, but screen to enter code never shows on pc. Searching computer never found file sync_client.exe, also never showed up on MacAfee list of files given permission. Running Windows 7/wireless network

Hi Doug,
The file is actually C:\Program Files(x86)\My Sync Center\sync_server.exe. I have updated the PC guide.

I set up the app to sync a few playlists from my itunes library. It transfers the songs to my phone, but they just show up in the music player as a bunch of song files. They aren’t organized into the playlists that I have on iTunes. How do I get these playlists to show up on my music app?

Ditto. This is essential for me. I have bought the app as I think it has a lot of potential, but I need to switch back to isyncr for the time being.

Hi. Possible to sync to multiple PC’s? Will it explode? Or is it better to sync to Dropbox and let it do the heavy lifting?!

Hi
.
It is possible to sync to multiple PCs as long as they are on a different network. This is a limitation of the server discovery which I’ll fix in the future

Hi..
I have done the setup and it seems to be alright. BUT no sync is taking place.
Manual sync also does not seem to do the job. Pairing with PC has gone well.

Hi,
There is a new update to the app which may help you diagnose the issue. Check out my last post in the blog

This is a really great app, but it needs two way syncing and it needs to honor deletions from both directions. I think you would be the first with a successful sync app if you added this.
