1. Installation of PC app
The PC app setup application can be downloaded from here:
Once it has downloaded, run the application and follow the instructions.
Take note to select the correct network interface. This step is VERY important. If you do not select the correct one, your device may not be able to find your PC.
The network interface selection screen.
Once you complete the setup, the application will be running in the background. Take note of the tray bar in the bottom right corner:
Clicking the My Sync Center icon will show the application.
2. Pairing with your PC
If you have just installed the app on your device then you should get to the following screen of the ‘first run’ setup:
Click the ‘Pair With New PC’ button. Your device code will be shown while the device attempts to pair with your PC.
Keep your eye on the PC screen. The pair window should now pop up:
Enter the key that is displayed on your device. Your device should now be paired to your PC. This completes the setup guide for the application. You will now be able to sync your files.
3. Troubleshooting
If you are unable to see the ‘pair window’ on your PC then the device is having trouble communicating to your computer. There could be many reasons for this. Here’s some things to check:
- Make sure that you are not running a firewall (or configure your firewall to allow ‘sync_server.exe’, it can be found in C:\Program Files(x86)\My Sync Center\bin)
- Quit the ‘My Sync Center’ application by right clicking on the tray icon. Run it again then try to pair with your PC again. Earlier versions had issues after running for the first time.
- Check that the network interface is correct. Right click on the tray icon and click settings. If you have multiple, try choosing a different one and restarting ‘My Sync Center’.
If you are still having issues, help me diagnose the issues by sending me a log file from:
Windows 7/Vista:
C:\Users\<Your user name>\.mysync.log
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your user name\.mysync.log
Attach that file to an email and send it to help@mirsadmakalic.com. I’ll get back to your ASAP.

Super easy and so far is a great app, but instead of using iTunes, is there a way to do the same thing with the Windows Media Player?

PC Sync Center was crashing at Network selection. I found the the problem/workaround. You are installing to C:\Program Files which is correct for a Win 7 32 machine. Somewhere I saw something about C:\Program Files(x86) which is normally only seen on Win 7 64 installs. I created that directory and installed to that. It now works.
Go figure

I followed the instructions to a “tee” and have not been able to sync my music. I added “my music” folder to the Music tab on the user interface and did a manual sync. None of the songs that are on my phone went to the already empty “my music” folder.
